I bought this to replace the paper thin plastic cover which disintegrated after one winter. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box...heavy cloth, waterproof with adjustable elastic and two buckled straps. Fits my 36 inch fire pit with domed screen perfectly. For the money and for the quality, you can't go wrong. It's guaranteed 3 years.

For the price, this cover is great. I have a 41 inch fire bowl and it adjusts to fit great. It also does a very good job of keeping the fire bowl out of the weather.

As some reviewers have noted, this cover tends to run smaller than what is required to realistically cover a 44 inch fire pit.
That being said, if you have one of the excellent Landmann 40 inch pits like we do this will work great for you and it is definitely priced right.

i have this in a much larger size for our firepit, but bought this one for our above ground round pond fountain. it worked great. keeps the fall leaves out and the drained pond clean and dry during the rainy season. nice thick material and closes snuggly. thanks!
